Captain Dave loves to show off the natural beauty of the mangrove islands, the crystal clear grass flats in the shadow of rustic "fish shacks" and the beaches of deserted islands as well as introduce you to our native fishes.
He can take you on a "skinny water adventure", stalk snook and redfish, from the mangrove shorelines of Charlotte Harbor to the crystal clear grass flats and sand potholes of Pine Island Sound, or wade the flats of Sanibel & Captiva. Captain Dave can also put you in the best ambush spot along the beaches or in Boca Grande Pass for a memorable "tarpon-tangle adventure". (Be sure to ask about the origin of the name!)
Whether you are a hard-core angler who wants to fish hard all day, throw plugs or flys to your target species, go after the coveted grand slam
or
you look forward to a family outing that will be remembered long after your return home, there is no better place. Fish during the morning, then take the family to an "on the water restaurant", followed by an afternoon "nature watch". Cruise the backcountry; see dolphins, manatees and wading birds and maybe an alligator, or go shelling on a deserted beach along the Gulf's green waters.
Dave will strive to make your trip memorable.
If your fly-casting needs a "tune-up" or you need help with plug or spin casting, Captain Dave is "your man". He's happy to give you instruction.
Captain Dave can meet you in a number of locations and will be hapy to make it as easy as possible for you, but if you don't have a specific place in mind consider Burnt Store Marina. Centrally located in the area and a beautiful marina facility, Burnt Store Marina makes a great starting spot regardless of what type of fish or adventure you are after.
